NASS Cattle Death Loss
Description: This report is a cooperative effort of the National Agricultural Statistics Service and the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service's Veterinary Services division, including non-ambulatory cattle and calf totals by region, weight category, and type of operation. It provides data on number of head and total value of cattle and calves lost by cause, as well as a percentage of predator and non-predator losses by predator and type, respectively.
